Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

Nuroove ("Nuroove," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by JWK Strategic Group LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. Nuroove is a financial analytics tool for founders: you connect your business bank accounts, and we calculate figures like how much you can safely spend, your runway, and your monthly burn, and send you alerts when thresholds are crossed.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By creating a Nuroove account or using the service (the "Service"), you agree to this Policy.

Nuroove is a business tool intended for use in the United States. It is not directed to consumers outside the U.S. or to anyone under 18.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you sign up and set up your account, we collect:

  • Your email address and password (your password is handled by our authentication provider and is not visible to us in readable form).
  • Your name, if you provide it.
  • Your business profile from onboarding and settings: business name, business type, number of employees, your primary financial goal, estimated monthly revenue, estimated tax rate, monthly payroll, and your chosen safety-buffer and notification settings.

Financial information through Plaid. When you connect a bank account, you do so through Plaid, our financial-data provider. Through Plaid we receive account and transaction information for the accounts you connect, including account names and types, account balances, and transaction history (dates, amounts, descriptions, and categories). We also receive and securely store the access credentials Plaid issues so we can keep your connection refreshed. Our access to your bank data is read-only — Nuroove cannot move, send, or withdraw money.

Payment information through Stripe. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment-card details directly; Nuroove does not receive or store your full card number. We store limited billing references from Stripe, such as your customer and subscription identifiers and your subscription status.

Information we generate. As you use the Service, we create records such as the analytics we compute from your data and the in-app and email notifications we send you.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process limited technical data needed to operate and secure the Service, such as server and function logs, IP address, and basic request metadata. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide the Service — calculate your Available to Spend, runway, monthly burn, revenue, net profit, and related figures from your connected financial data and your settings.
  • Send you alerts and account emails — for example, low-cash or runway-threshold notifications, where you have email notifications turned on, plus essential account, security, and billing messages.
  • Process your subscription — manage your free trial, billing, and subscription status through Stripe.
  • Authenticate and secure your account.
  • Maintain, debug, and improve the Service.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your financial data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with service providers ("sub-processors") that help us operate the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

  • Plaid Inc. — bank-account connection and financial-data aggregation.
  • Stripe, Inc. — subscription and payment processing.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, and backend hosting (where your account and financial data are stored).
  • Resend — sending transactional and alert emails.
  • Vercel — hosting the Nuroove application and website.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process; to protect the rights, safety, or property of Nuroove, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy or notify you of any material change.

4. Plaid

Nuroove uses Plaid to connect to your financial institutions. When you connect an account, you provide your credentials directly to Plaid, not to Nuroove, and Plaid's handling of your information is governed by Plaid's own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the Plaid End User Privacy Policy at https://plaid.com/legal. By connecting an account, you also authorize Plaid to access and transmit your account information to Nuroove as described here.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period and instruct Plaid to terminate the connection and revoke the associated access credentials — except information we must retain to meet legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations, or that has been aggregated or de-identified so it no longer identifies you.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and correction. You can view and update your profile and notification preferences in your account settings. For other access or correction requests, contact us.
  • Deletion. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by emailing privacy@jwkstrategic.com.
  • Disconnecting a bank. You can ask us to disconnect any linked account at any time by contacting us at the address above.
  • Email choices. You can turn off non-essential alert emails in your settings. We will still send essential account, security, and billing emails while your account is active.

We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

7. How We Protect Your Information

We maintain a written information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, consistent with our obligations under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the FTC Safeguards Rule. These measures include:

  • Per-user access controls at the database level, so each account can access only its own data.
  • Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
  • Restricted handling of sensitive credentials, such as Plaid access tokens and third-party API keys, which are kept in secured secret storage and are not exposed in our application code.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and any authorities as required by law.

8. Financial Privacy (GLBA Notice)

Because Nuroove handles nonpublic personal financial information, we treat your data as protected under the GLBA. We collect and use this information only to provide and improve the Service as described in this Policy, we do not sell it, and we share it only with the service providers and in the circumstances described above.

9. Children's Privacy

Nuroove is a business tool not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
